Bought this fine automobile from fellow Cal-Look forum member 'Balocco' and now it's time to give the thing some fresh spring time air  Smiley

The car was in pretty good condition when I got it so apart from new running boards, sorting a leaky rear hub and it's t-bars it's just been waiting for summer. Interior is the next thing I think as it's pretty tatty...

To everyone in Scandinavia, what are the good shops and websites to pick up vee-dub parts? Seems crazy for me to order from the UK...

Hi Paul,

Would be nice to see it with the motor it deserves Cool

Here's a few shops I use. Been a while since I ordered from the last two, mainly bought from them at meetings, but they should still be ok.

Thought it was time for an update on the Oval. The interior is looking a bit neater now I've covered the seats and it's soon ready for the road with the new motor Smiley The old 1200 motor and gearbox have been moth-balled and a 1500 box with 1776 motor is soon ready to Rock'n'Roll... Here's a few pics for anyone interested.

The exhaust is on it's way along with a few more 12v bits... Then all that's left to do is enjoy the summer  Grin

A big shout goes out to Stretch for spending his Easter break up to his eye-balls in grime. Dude for the Gearbox and Graham for the motor!!!

No worries Puz.  I enjoyed working on it, it's a great car.

Has the exhaust turned up?

Potential first drive this weekend?   Smiley

A spin on the weekend is a must!!! I'm excited like a kid at xmas  Grin

Grin It would be interesting to see what time it could do. I'd be over the moon with a 15sec pass...
