So after Volksworld and the big issue i had the only other thing was to reflect back on the cars i liked and although the style is not my thing (too low) I loved the jeans beetle, my friend used his mums when we are 17/18 years old and had lots of fun in it (wonder where it is now) anyway i digress, so I've been searching since then, one popped up on eBay this week and tonight i won it..... probably an impulse buy but never mind, pictures to follow, Ive also heard of another one..... seems like make the best out of both (they are cheap....)

Anyway, not cal look  but a right good car to run over summer and probably almost fashionable again...

will keep you posted on progress.

PS if you have any pictures of jeans beetle get them posted in this thread please, cheers

one for starters from volksworld 2012... the reason ive got one.

Personally I'd go a bit Cal-look on it - drop the front on 145's, band some rear wheels to 5.5" and slap on some 185/70's, and fill the engine bay with period late '70s tuning stuff - an 1835 or 2180 would be cool! Keep it driveable and fairly sensible, but wild enough to have some fun with!
