Ok, my bug is currently UK based and registered and fully street legal. It was a US specced sedan so no semaphores and of course is LHD. It was imported some years ago to the UK but not by me. She has a rock solid body all steel and could use a fresh coat of paint if you like 'em glossy. I took her on as a ongoing project with a view to build a street legal racer and I've achieved what I set out to. Of course there is always room to out your own stamp and style on her if you wish. To make her yours if you like.

So the interior is racer style with,

Big Wig ally panels,
Corbeau Kevlar bucket seat
Pro racer harness,
Window net,
Cro-moly rollcage by Cotsweld to MSA race spec tied to chassis / framehorns,
Cluster of gauges,
Linelock,
Rev Limiter and launch control.

Out back we have HD torsion bars and Spring Plates.

I have a full set of race weight Erco's with street tyres up front and MH DOT's out back.

Transmission is by Cogbox and is semi race with close 3rd and 4th,in a Rhino case,
HD short axles,
Quaife ATB diff.

Motor is by John Maher Racing nearly new with approx 250 road miles and 8 passes, with average ET of 12.6 in full street trim and weight. Motor has potential for 11 second passes with right combo and driver,

Stuska dyno'd by John with 228 flywheel bhp without cooling and through A1 lowdown ceramic header and DKR polished muffler.

2332 IDA with flanged crank and flywheel,
FK87 cam,
Pauter roller rockers,
Comp Eliminators 46 x 38,
Comp Ratio at 11:1

Serious car requires serious enquiries only please.

Have invested a lot of time and cash into this bug so looking for 14,995 UK pounds.

Buyer collects and or arranges shipping. I'll help if I can but have zero experience of this. Payment in full before I'll release her to new owner.

Thanks for looking.

Runs fine on premium grade pump fuel / gas of 98 / 99 UK RON for high RPM's and 95 RON for street cruising.

Hey Andy and Richie,

Thanks for your kind words. I'm not looking to sell for financial reasons and I feel the price is fair considering the level of investment I have made in this bug. However if I don't get any serious interest, I don't need to sell so will keep my foot in   Grin

Mate, Huh There,s a lot more fun in there yet,?? The seasons just starting,, stick in there and get her into the 11,s as you know you can with time. Wish I was there cruising around in my 67 with ya,, as I'm sure that would change things..
I hope she is still with you when I'm back home in July, and hope to see her run good at bug jam. !?
Great car and helping out install that beast of a motor last year was a treat ill never forget.

Stay cool and in touch.
