OK, last Thursday was a big day for me - picked up my new motor from Ian at Wolfsburg Performance!!

My bug has been engine-less for over 2.5 years after it let go at Santa Pod and made a right mess!

So some pics, well on track for Bug In, running later this week, MOT and get some miles on it!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Cheers!

Cheers for the kind comments guys, I wrote a few pages of ramblings and Volksworld practically printed the whole thing!

Man I had a big grin on my face Smiley

Since then panels are on, oil cooler fitted everything working and ready for MOT, all I am missing is a rear lens and just need to tweak my "on off" accelerator action!

cool car, look forward to having a look at EBI. engine sounds strong too, love the dual muffs Smiley
it was a good volksworld feature, some nice shots of it on the move. BTW Dave Clark who did the welding works about 10 mins from me,we often chat about your car. What ever happened to the grey looker that was being built at the same time ?

ah Dave from Airwerx! say hello from me Smiley couldn't have built my bug without him!

the grey looker is safely tucked away at a mates house, still work in progress, he is gathering cash and motivation at the moment!

He will be my co-pilot to Bug In!
