Don't forget to stop by Nick's Super Burger in Fullerton tonight!  Club Choice award is at 7:00pm

Then Sunday at Classic, come by our club setup and say Hi, and check out the latest addition to our club roster.

See you there!

All who attend Nick's need to inspect the parking lot surface as Scott took on the duty of sweeping the entire area.  This was not an assignment by anyone, just Scott's personal effort to make a first cabin event for all who attend.

THANKS SCOTT....................      Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

JUST GOT BACK FROM NICKS (1:20 hr drive home) -- Had a great time -- Times of cars and tons of Cops LOL -- Saw Roger Crawford and his Black streeter and Mark, Rod Penrose and his Aussie group, Dyno Don, and about 14 Billion over guys -- I was the only one wearing a VW racer relief sweat shirt -- The car the won the top award for the evening had a cool story behind it -- evidently the owner had gathered all the parts and had the car painted in the mid-90's and left it set until just recently when one of his employees offered to put it together for him. and the car was cooool

For some reason my uploading of pictures is draggggging --

Don't bring ANY weak ass shit and try to park on this side of Nick's LMAO

Just got back from the DKP Pre-Classic Cruise at Nick's Superburgers. Without a doubt my favorite VW event of the year. I get to stand in the same parking lot of the same restaurant with the same friends and the same cars as I did in 1982. So lucky to have all these friends for so many years.

It was an awesome crowd tonight. Not crazy huge like we've seen in the past.

DKP has this down to a science. They aways do such a great job.

The club award was a crapshoot at best. There was at least 5 cars that they could have given the award to. Maybe it's a reflection of the economy but it seems that the cars are less "high dollar" cars and more on simpler traditional cars. I like the direction it's going.

I didn't take a lot of pics... spent too much talking to everyone  Grin

Yep, it does now belong to me.  Several things I'll need to address to make it truly mine.  Will be underway with those projects starting next week.  Had thoughts of building another car and at one time considered using our '63 Black Sedan but after thinking it through didn't want to change the '63 and to much work for a "senior" to build.  Buying one is much easier and it gives you almost instant gratification.

4.5 and 6.0 Fuch with 185-60x15 front and 215-70x15 rear.  All tires are Goodyear brand.  Don't know if I'll keep them as I'm going to raise the rear and maybe for front.  Once this is completed I'll reassess the tires.

Good choice John, I've found it takes less time to write a check than it does crawl out from under a car (whow!..a little whuzzy there.   Damn those clogged oil lines).

Drop me a line please, I got a neighbor friend with a decent 56 Imperial who would like to join the flock...so to speak Wink

I bought my 66 stock from Johnny running the same club decals and was parked a few cars up. I did not even notice the decals in the window, pretty cool!
