Well, my bud Randy and I picked up my wife's (and mine) 66' bus Saturday from her moms house, been locked up in the garage for 10 years since it was stolen and recovered. NOW, hopefully will start working on it next year, to make it a Cal-Look bus... The board on top is to keep the Avocado's from denting the roof when they fall, the bus is right under it, Sad The main thing it's home now.  Grin

Thanks Ed, when stolen, it was pretty much striped. Motor, all interior, stereo, was just a shell when found in Bell 10 years ago. Since then, have bought front seats, back seat, new rear view mirrors, and a Berg Locker when I worked at Bergs. I also have a 1776cc that I need to go through. For now, just going to pick up new parts here and there, when I can, will have Old Speed install an IRS, and adjusters installed on front beam. For wheels, well the repop gas burners that are on my car was suppose to be FOR the bus, may still use them on the bus. NO narrow beam here. Rossi's will come off and original buckets will go on with Hella H-4's. Stereo I have already. picked up when Circuit City went out. The interior will be simple and mostly stock, the seats will be like the ones in my car. Back seat only, no middle seat. I want it clean and simple with a slight dump on front, stock hight out back. Bottom line, have not really made a list of stuff yet. But I will, and it will GROW.

NICE Ted! Now "Filmore" will have a playmate his own age in the club. Grin
I agree. Have some fun with it first. It looks really solid.

BTW; I think you should bag up all those nasty, roof denting avocados and bring them to Drag Day. We'll show 'em who's boss!

MMMmmmmm...guacamole...aaauggggg...

I KNEW it... only a matter of time before a DEEK thread fully derails and morphs into a food subject.

Wait. Guacamole?

Looking forward to trying your empanadas, Rick!
I've only tried Manny's so far, and they were sooooo good.
Loved the hidden olive that's tucked away in one of the ends.
Nice surprise!
