Hey Ian yes as Glenn has said the first thing I said was it need a Mag in here.  Grin Can not put a header on as I need to cut the rear panel to do so.

The plan is to still put a turbo motor in it. So don't want to go cutting away metal I'm going to need to put back.

But the more I looked at it the more I was thinking the Ida motor looks at home it there.

Now do I keep it NA?Huh?

Took the NSU to my local VW show today.

Martin When you say local VW show , do you actually mean: you, your car in a field on your own?

Hey Mike yes as Jon has said not the best show in the world. Was more water cooled car there than aircooled.

Fiatdude I already got a turbo motor in my 65 street bug. Not that I use it for two years now as it sat in my garage.

Small update for today.
Stayed back late at work and machine down the rear drums so I can fit the castle nut on the end of the shorter alxes.

Also the uj's has turned up, it's off a mk2 golf. I like to try and use as many VW parts I can Wink So should have the steering finish off tomorrow.

Next thing I'm waiting on now is the pedal box to turn up.

 Sorry no real update.

Pedal box has turned up, will post a photo tomorrow.  Have bearing now to fit the VW disk brakes onto the NSU spindles. Just need to make up a pair of spacers and brackets to hold the calipers on at work. Also have started to send parts off for powder coating.
