First of all: Sorry to the dutch guys, I could not make Budel. My wife booked a last minute holiday, she'll fly this night. So we decided to spend the day together and pack her suitcase(s). I looked at this photo throughout the day to keep me from crying :-)

Cheers

Andi, this was the second time you didn't turn up. There had better not been a third time  Wink

But you would have loved the German late looker at the show n shine in the cal-look category. It was a 1968 Baltic blue 1500 with sunroof, gas burners, bumpers and trim but it looked very neat!
I didn't get a chance to speak to the owner as my German is rather appalling, haha.  (I barely managed communicating with Mr Fett when i bought my VDO gauges yesterday  Grin)

P.s. at second glance, is this the same car? Apparently, this one was done only 2 weeks ago...

The owners name is Sven and finished the car (like said) two weeks ago. He told me that he could choose between a fast car with a crap body or a sweet ride with a standard engine. He decided to do the last one and have the big engine later, when finances allow.

And yes, it's beautiful! I think Gasburners suit a late looker perfectly
Cheers,

Georg
