2005 DRKC Championship winning Oval built by Joe Maestas in California. The car has also been campaigned by Brian Burrows in the VWDRC.

The car will be sold less the engine and either with stock transmission or race transmission dependant on spec / price - unless the buyer would prefer the car to be complete.
The body has no rust. The paint is very good although there are some micro blisters.
There's no way you could build a car like this for the money.
The interior is fully restored original style - with square weave carpet. Tagged chromoly 10 second cage. Original Hurst shifter.  a race harness but also if wanted retractable lap belts. Perfect triple chrome US bumpers. Disc on front Porsche pattern. All the right stuff - Jay Cee torsion bar covers, heavy duty gearbox mounts. Sway-A-Way beam. 90/10 shocks. Fully restored and detailed in every area before coming over here.
Under the hood is very clean and nicely detailed
This price will not include the annodised Fuchs - but will include polished replicas. or the fuchs can be negotiated into the deal for the right price

prices as follows:-

car with race box spool fitted (box serviced by bears) and anodised fuchs  as currently is,  no engine £14000 (what i paid for it)

car with stock box and replica fuchs £12000

i am in no rush to sell but am unlikely to be out in this car due to personal commitments elsewhere and rather than see it sit doing nothing for a year or 2 would rather give someone else the opportunity to enjoy / use it as intended.

car would hold up as a cal looker or restocal,  whatever is your bag!

Well i can vouch for this car as i purchased it from the guy that bought it from Brian, i then sold it back to Brian..... the discription is as early-air has discribed and apart from a some mirco blisters is a subperb car.

what happened to the engine Pete ?

good luck with the sale.

someone should get lucky.

hi russel, engine went pop when owned by previous owner, then was rebuilt and was later sold on as i couldnt afford it with the car.  i have a 2387cc motor as well which could go with the car  for more ££££but no over keen on selling it.
