As cool as that video is, from that far away angle you really don't get the true impact of those cars coming out of the garage into the main arena. From behind, which is where I was, the crowd was going nuts when those cars came rumbling out! It was wall to wall people on the other end, and they went crazy for the Lightning Bug and Bill Schwimmer's VW.

Actually, having that many VWs in the Mooneyes show was proabably a one time deal. Perhaps some time in the future (we, the VWs) will be invited again. Next year, they will have other special sections devoted to other rods...
