Donīt know for sure, but itīs an old abandoned factory-building on the harbour with everything inside completely busted. Whatever place it is - itīs a great photo scene ;-)

Very cool... thanks.

I found a ton of old VW stuff, today, hiding in my house. Among the many treasures, I came across this old ad. One of my favorite Cal Look cars from the early '80s. Mike gave me one these For Sale fliers at a VW event, back then.

I've always thought that was the very best ad to sell a car that anyone's ever created. Then, and even now. Timeless and classic.

Don't know what happened to the car. I haven't seen it since the early '80s. I hope it's still one piece. What I admired the most, were his wheels. The finish RULED! That was back in an era when everyone had to have fully polished and chrome plated (YUCK!) alloys. If I ever get a set, they're gonna get restored back to their factory look.

Billing's car was SOOO nice. I just found a ton of VW Trends, HOT VWs, and VW & Porsche magazines. One of those issues has the article of his car. Great memories of a beautiful car.

Right on... Dave's green car is another great example of Cal Look.

Speaking of cool Cal Look cars and pictures, this thread is a great place to share the following visuals from Nick's, taken last night.

I call the images in this post Night Of The Living Sixty-Sevens.

'67.

More '67.

Yet, even MORE '67.

YIKES! Some more '67.

Okay... this was cool. I met Bruce McPherson. Not only another fellow surfer, like me. But also an ex-pro Pepsi Team skateboarder from the '70s. We're the same age and got to talking about the three things that we're into; VWs, surf, and skate. And just when you thought that we were outta the '67 territory... another '67.

Very nicely done '67 Type 3 Squareback. Had a great time talking to Bruce. We know a lot of the same people from three different scenes. Once again proving that's it's a small world, after all.

Are you ready for your closeup, Seņor De Alba? NO?!? Why not?

Sarge, how 'bout you? You are? COOL. Wait... where ya goin'?

Oh well. Whaddya gonna do? Dang '67 owners. They're all the same, yes?
