That first pic is killer, Tero... like an Arthur Secunda painting.  Looks like a trip up Mt Baldy road. Cool

I was thinking maybe JGE Torkers to keep it 5x205 and black powder coated vent window frames.. Cool But looks very cool as-is.

powder coat them that would look even better...
The first pic is sooo nice with the shaded mountains in the background! Do I see there DZU fasteners at the rear apron? orig H appron? Cool  Grin
chromed steelies (356 style) would look great  Roll Eyes Those 8 spokes aren`t my cup of tea on a -65
In my view that even broke the look of Mike Mahaffery's Split...

So what`s that for a car?

IMO, this pic is cool in three ways - the person (David "Pappy" Crow), the vintage Autohaus decklid, and the old school lettering/artwork that dates back to the days when David was setting AHRA World Records in his '67 which he still owns and races today.

I find it interesting that you`re allowed to race without a helmet over there while here in Norway they will not even let you walk on the strip without one.

Interesting. I didn't know that about either country.

Fabian, I've never seen that pic before... must've been right when I lowered the car and got the wheels on. 'Cause the club stickers weren't on yet. Thanks for posting that.

For RWYB at the Pod, if you run over 110mph 1/4 mile terminal speed and you have to wear one. The car above crosses the line at 95mph ish... so no helmet required, but most people now wear them.
