This is what 700 DDS shifters looked like....
Notice every single one is missing its base plate and handle... Nothing changes!  Cheesy

This past Sunday in So Cal, we were treated to some very nice and warm weather. Three DEEKS decided that it was a good idea to meet up in La Habra at Alberto's for some Mexican food.

Driving down Whittier Blvd. in an air cooled vehicle brings back much missed memories from days gone by. To make things equally cool, cruising this very same stretch of road with the very same two people that I used to from almost thirty years back.

If you're ever able, stop by one of the Alberto's eateries. GREAT food and decent prices. This one's on Whittier Blvd. and appears to be an old Der Weinerschnitzel.

Afterwards, a short drive on some winding local roads. Where we met up with another DEEK.

Tod's & Dan's cars in the mirror, on Whittier Blvd. for the drive back home. And, yes... that's a cop (up ahead) that pulled someone over. Just like old times on the boulevard.

I was doing 40, Dan. How quickly you forget the Cal Look rule of thumb. Smaller front tires.

Amen to THAT, brother. I thank God, a lot, that live where I do.

HAHA!! Good one, Peach. Naw, the TomTom g.p.s. was a nice gift from my girlfriend for Christmas in 2008. It goes in all of my cars.

Thanks for the kind words, y'all... not my best work, but it is what it is.
