Okay, not exactly VW.... But, here is Jim Wright (basically the founder of Hot VWs magazine), back in 1966, with the famous Hemi Cuda at Tom McEwen's house. Jim worked for Chrysler at the time, doing PR work, and teamed up with Tom to run this car at the Winternationals and so on. Tom ended up crashing this car at Lions months later. Car was rebuilt and sold....
