It's anthracite L469. Don't have have any other pics finished by now.

The engine is a 1776, w125, 40 Dells. The car has lots of self made pieces like the 2 1/2" exhaust, a "mini roll cage" around the driver's seat or flat head light lenses.

When in California, make sure you visit the Deano Dyno-Soars Museum and gift shop.... just like Mark and Paul Schley did!

Nice, Deano.  You've really whipped that new vacant lot into shape!  Was it difficult getting zoming permits for huge dyno-soars?

While I'm here I might as well post up another pic, this time with a little photoshop, or is it actually that transparent plastic doors exist?

Here are 2 of the 3 photos I used to make up that one, I seem to have lost the +2 eposure one  Huh

Apart from the HDR the photoshopping is extremely lightweight, as in removing the tree that I didn't really like.

Film usually has a higher dynamic range and it behaves a little different, it's just not comparable Smiley.

I'm not a big fan of noticable HDR either, but sometimes you have to blend a few shots to get the exposure you are looking for, especially in contrasty situations. You could also opt for a gradual neutral density filter to darken the sky a little bit, it's up to you Smiley. There's nothing wrong with some editing since the images produced with dSLRs almost never have the perfect contrast or colors.

To me it doesn't matter which editing techniques have been used. If a photo looks good, it looks good.
