Hi guys, first post, so go easy on me! Here's a pic of a couple of mine taken in 1989. The split roofed oval was sold on soon after before I could start working on her. Does anyone in the UK recognise her and have any idea where she ended up?

It must be. I sold it to Danny just before I moved away from Poole in 89-90. I originally bought it from Jon Deveraux at Small Car Specialties in Bournemouth. I think Danny had worked for him at some point.

 It certainly looks good now.

Here is a black and white proof sheet from the seventies. These photos were taken at Brad's Upholstery, when he and I shared a shop on North Grove, in Anaheim. Photos show Brad installing the interior into Keith Goss' chop top. It also shows the steps that went into building the sheet metal for Keith's engine. I welded up the heat riser openings on the breast plate, and filled in all the tabs and holes on the fan housing and cylinder covers. Once all this was done, I blocked sanded it all, and painted it with black lacquer and rubbed it out smooth  with rubbing compound by hand. I think this was around 1976, just prior to the car's debute at the Bug-In. As I recall, when Keith drove this car to OCIR for the first time, the breather puked oil all over the engine! By the time I got to the Bug-In, and looked for Keith, he was parked way in the back, trying to clean up the mess (with Eggs) before parking it in the car show. As you know, it all turned out great! The Porsche 912 in the photos belonged to Harvey Weidman at the time, and was having a new headliner installed by Brad.

Thanks Deano! Brad's work is of course a big influence on my own Smiley
