This image is beyond cool. If you look at it and don't at least grin, try it again or check for a pulse. There are not too many other things better in the world than a convertible VW and a girl.  VW trivia: Adam Duritz (lead singer and founder of Counting Crows) spent $3,500 on a '70 Karmann Ghia convertible with the $4,000 that he got from his first recording company advance, back in the early nineties. He used the remaining $500 to fix the car up. The best part; he still owns the car and keeps it at his L.A. house and swears that he'll never sell it. Hopefully, it's a Cal Looker. |
