A Ghia re-bodied as a Mustang, running a Mod engine, and with the back-half of a Henry J pasted to it? What the hell is this world coming to?!

That Henry would be awesome if someone threw away that chassis and suspension, painted the body a solid color, and built it as a faithful mid '60s gasser. I'd have it with a blown Olds, please....

But I know why Worm's is: that's AWESOME! I can see those bracelets in some tacky Carnaby Street shop next to the sterling safety-pin earrings and Sham 69 buttons. One-stop poseur shopping!

Well then I'd tell you that they should use the body from that Sears-branded Henry J and build a proper gasser.  Wink

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet and that's a Henry J no matter what Sears called it.

Ah Yes, the dreaded ALLSTATE!

Actually that one doesn't have its trademark Allstate grille.

Are we going to get in trouble by talking about V-8s in a VW forum? It does feel a little bit creepy because they're not even traditional builds.

Ah Yes, the dreaded ALLSTATE!

You guys are gooood!!! LOL ---- In the Henry/Allstate registry this is the earliest (by a lot) allstate on the list and they believed in the first 20 made ---- Jerry has owned this car since he was in High School 1965  and finally finished a rebuild last year after setting for 30 years
