These are in a car I just picked up - a 57 bug. Want to build an early style Gasser with it. I don't have any history on the car though.

I really like the LOOK of the car but what is with the rear bumper?  From the side shots the main blade is pointing up like it has been hit.

 Is that bumper actually what they sell as a buggy rear bumper? I have early fenders on a late bug and like the look of buggy bumpers.  I was just going to fab plates off the factory mount points. thanks John

yes  , i went to the shop near from my house and asked 2 buggys bars and they gave me those one , they're the one everybody sell  , before i had one at the rear bu twith that exhaust i cannot fit the rear one , no more space between the exhaust and apron with the single t-bird it was easy

Agreed on both counts Lee! The worst part about them is that once the nose mount starts to loosen off as it degrades and cracks, you can't get spanners in to tighten the bolts up...
