What an interesting photo.............the proportions of the inch pincher seem exaggerated, especially considering it is closer to the camera. The rears are huge and the fronts small.........it looks dwarfed by the coupe in the other lane. Amongst the other interesting details, the inch pincher is running I/G against the J/G coupe and what appears to be a a buggy bar in the rear. I love the unpolished BRM's and big and littles. Great shot - and out in front!

Its an older picture, its the tube car in progress and Daves car before it came over for EBI4 and DDD 10, cab 1 still looks the same less a different colour bonnet and decklid as I didn't paint the new lighter ones yet and it is still over there keeping warm cheers Richie

Great shot - and out in front! I noticed that as well, Dave. Since the cars are going through the traps, I think what we're seeing is the driver of the Inch Pincher just closed the throttle and weight has shifted from the rear of the car. Looks cool as hell, too.

Those are Wolfrace wheels. The slightly squared off slots distinguish them from Cobra Supaslots that were available around the same time. Popular back then as they were available with the correct stud pattern for the Beetle. I had a set on a 69 Bug and they were great quality. They cleaned up well as long as they were not left dirty for too long. Time for a 'come back' ??
