Just curious if anyone is running this Momo on there car. It's kinda growin on me, I kinda like it. When you switched out your stock wheel was it a real game changer? Did it really give you better control over your car and make it feel different??
I like this wheel, just not sure I will like the look on my 65. It's a cool looking wheel. I have been told Momo's are great!

Dude, that steering wheel belong in a jap drift car! If you want to buy a Momo please take a look at their classic called Prototipo. It is still available new but also looks really cool when used and with a certain patina. And yes, I think that changing the steering wheel really makes a difference and not to forget the extra workout you get with the smaller wheel and wider tires at the front.

Please get that wheel out of your head and buy a proper one  Smiley

It would be nice if someone made a thick leather wheel that was 400mm diameter.

That way I could enjoy flicking the wheel around, and still see the top of the speedo while I'm driving ('73 Superbug).

Although not so much Cal-Look, your post made me think of this:

I'm sorry, I did not see where it said "FOR JAP DRIFT CAR" on the wheel!!!!!........... Cheesy. By the way, the Japanese are really into Cal-Look VW's. So what makes it a drift car wheel??? The squared off bottom? And I said I kinda like it, not, I'm buying it! I would like it better if the spokes where polished instead of all black.
I don't care for these wheels for the most part. I like the wood aluminum wheels like the Flat4 wood wheel with polished spokes. I like the Nardi wheels as well. Just rhrowin it out there dude, thought I would get some feedback and maybe some posts of other VW's using them...........

That guy put some coin into that notch! Looks really nice too. I love the red leather interior as well. Not crazy about the Momo stamped on the front of the wheel, but hey thats the beauty of fixing up a hot rod. You can customize it to your taste! Thanks for the post.

That's nice, I like that! It's got that cool '70s Ferrari thing happening.
14.5" is 340mm, my current one is wood 350mm, and that's too small.
Pity.  Cry
