Hi Guy's

I've got a T1 Porsche shroud coming from the states that i got at a great price with only a little 'fibre glass' repair and paint.

Now i need some help on sorting out a 'fan belt' for the set up...

I'm planning to use a POWER PULLEY on my 2165 with the top pulley on the fan. Now im ethier going to use a,

- scat power pulley
- jaycee 6" power pulley
or
-reichspeed aircooled

Any help? here's a few pictures of the fan i have Cheesy

Thanks Smiley

Fit it and measure it would be the best bet.

yeah i know its not the easiest way but probably best, i had the same issue with a smaller pulley on mine.

First and foremost you should tackle the issues that it only cools one side of your engine.

The fan will blow all (almost) of the air over to one side, because of the turbulence the fan makes. Since there is no vanes inside the shroud, one side will be cooler than the other. Rev it up and feel under both cylinders at the same time. There will be a difference.

If you look closely on the new fan houses made by CSP and also take a look at what Pauter did to his fan house you will see what I`m trying to tell you: http://pauter.com/Ghia.htm On the new fan houses they have changed the design so that it guides the air evenly to all the cylinders instead of only #1 and #2 as yours will do. A simple test, use tape and seal the fan house then spin the fan around with a drill and feel the airflow from the plug holes.
