Having a dumb moment...

Seen a pair of cheap wheels for sale. They are everything I need in terms of style/width and diameter but the back space is 4 inch, I was after around 3.25 inch. Am I right in thinking a 0.75 inch spacer with the 4 inch back space wheel would work out the same as 3.25?

yes,is the outer side ok if you add the 3/4 inch to it? and I personally wouldn't run a 3/4 spacer on a race car,and I am not sure I would use "cheap wheels" on it either Shocked

Hi Richie,

When I said cheap, they are Weld Pro stars at a good price Wink
I hadn't considered the impact of the spacer on the outer edge, because although I 'correct' the backspace with the spacer, it still ads width effectively....
I've got a 5 inch narrowed rear axle each side on a notch, so was after some wheels to use as mock up. I know Ron Lummus recommends a 3-3.5 inch backspace wheel.

Thanks,

Thanks Richie, I'm a while off needing it but will probably take you up on that offer. Looking to run a 9 inch slick
