Looking hrough a box of bits for the race car and came across these little beauties! Hepolite 77mm pistons, I think for a 36hp motor. They are NOS, although the box is a little dog-eared, with rings and pins. One of the pins has some surface rust on it which will need to be polished out before the pin is removed - I haven't done this as I didn't want to damage the piston by forcing it.
There have been a couple of sets on thesamba, but they don't turn up very often.
I'm looking for £80 for the set.
I'll put some pictures up later.

Yes, seems strange but boring out engines was reasonably common, I've just never seen it on a VW! Makes the 1192 into a 1240cc motor if I work it out right!

There's no barrels dude, just the pistons. I might have some 1300 barrels somewhere that I can chuck in if they're any use, but I know I don't have any early stuff.
