Well as always.... as the title says.....My old manx has has its engine removed & Sold Sad

As far as I know the "Car" was sold with out its engine and gauges...... I am not too worried about the gauges as these were "another" set of empi gauges that Alan the guy I sold it to fitted but I am a little worried about that motor  Undecided Cry

Alan had it rebuilt by Dan simpson to a 1776cc with everything else the same (ie my carb set-up and other cool parts) but he did put a new "manx style" exhaust on it... it looked pretty cool, he only did approx 300miles on the rebuilt motor and then removed it! I always wanted to make it a 1776 as this would have just been the cheery on the cake, It took me YEARS to get all those parts together and I am just hoping that the new owner (whoever it is  Undecided) doesn't split it all up and sell it all off  Cry

Does anyone have any info on the buyer of my old motor Huh

Has anyone heard anything  Huh

Pleaseeeeeeee let me know  Smiley

Surely this happens all the time though? It may not be sad news, the new owner may love and look after it just as well as you did Smiley

yeah agreed but this little motor was kind of a big element of the "Whole"  Undecided

And I did put ALOT of time and effort into that carb set-up but like you say I am sure the new owner will love and treasure it  Smiley
