I'm telling you, you & Sarge gotta meet....

I thought he was married  Roll Eyes Grin

You two are scare'n the hell outta me  Grin   One of life's best treasures is a great food and wine pairing; something best discovered at an early age.  Unfortunatly for me, my early age wine experiences revolved around cheap plonk (Boone's Farm, Annie Greensprings, Tirolia, Spinada, Bali High) and absolutly no thought of food! Shocked

The wife and I have been enjoying some really nice wines from Chili lately. Had a good Pinot last night with some lasagna.

my favourite drink is the Klosterbräu beer from the local Eichhof brewery, Lucerne. once in a while I opt for a gin tonic.

It almost did one blurry night in Pasadena. Mr jasonX was acting up in Macy's....asking the Lancome girl for a makeover at the mascara counter...so to quickly distract her I started asking her directions to Oakland, CA...."Does the 210 take me to Oakland?" She just looked blankly at us.....all the while my wife, Mary Ann, runs away laughing so hard she's crying. The Lancome girl says "Isn't Oakland up by San Francisco?"
"Yeah," I reply...."Isn't that like 45 minutes from here?"
"Uh....no...."
So I ask the poor girl "Well, then WHERE ARE WE?"

'member that jason?
that was great i was out of my millinium, getting drunk in pasadena ahnd window shopping, at car dealerships is great

next time you're down we'll have to take you back for those fish-bowl maragaritas in Montrose. You were pretty funny afterwards.... sushi, vodka, beer, beef flautas, and that margarita....I don't know how you made it out alive. Grin

Just got done doing a Wine Stroll through downtown Grants Pass. 12 different stops with 3 to 6 different local wines at each stop. All the Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlots are kicking my ass! Boy is my head gonna hurt tomorrow. Maybe a few MacTarnahan's Amber Ales will make it better.  Grin
