Those Spanish reds offer some good bang for the buck.  If you happen to see Alto Moncayo Garnacia (grenache) from Campo De Boja, good stuff... your tongue will stay purple for a week, too! Shocked Grin

No workie for me so it's noon IPA time. Today's selection I picked up in Goodyear, Arizona yesterday. Port Brewing's Hop-15 Imperial IPA 9.7% ABV. Unfiltered and stupid hoppy.

You sir are correct. Syrah is the same as Shiraz and not Sirah. My bad. You can spank me next time I'm down that way.  Grin

Tonight's beer is a beer I've been saving for about a year -Avery Brewing's Samael's Oak Aged Ale 15.53% ABV. I'm five sips (+1 22oz. Ninkasi Total Domination IPA) into this one and feeling it. Very sweet with lots of vanilla, toffee, orange zest, maybe sour cherries, obviously Oak and hot alcohol. It's almost too syrupy, very decadent. I don't know if I can finish this one beer because I will be destroyed drunk. I should have let this age for another year or 2.

Kosta Browne Pinot Noir... oh man, goooooood stuff!  Only one problem: the bottle needs to be twice the size Roll Eyes Smiley  Joe Moss' album is a blues piece that is well worth seeking out.... 75+ minutes of music, too.
