Finnish Koskenkorva (similar to vodka) with orangejuice...  but just for my misery.... found out today that my car has some odd oil leaks, and canīt make it to SCC this year.  I know.. alcohol is not the answer but, boy it feels good. I still got my Plan B. Fix the leak and make a 500km round trip to a Finnish VW-meeting.

I was planning to make some killer Cabernet Sauvignon off a vine growing in the back yard, but the f@$kin' birds made off with damn near all my "crop"....WTF's my gun?? I will say, the few grapes they left behind taste damn good. The vine is in a 5 gallon pot on the patio. Last year, the rats helped themselves  Tonight, Sea Smoke Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County

Speaking of dunkel bier, I want to try this dark hefenweizen offered by Weihenstephaner in Germany. I've yet to see a dark hefenweizen in the States.
