Fresh poured Southern Hemisphere Ale from Sierra Nevada. I stopped by the brewery on my way home from Bug-O-Rama. It's brewed with hops imported from New Zealand and it is VERY hoppy. They don't even bottle it. So I brought a 1 gallon jug and they filled it for me. Very good stuff.

As far as I know it's only available in Chico at the brewery. If you like VERY hoppy beers like me, it is worth the drive from So Cal. I wish I had a few more hours to spend there, but it's no fun driving over the Siskiyous drunk as shit. Vomit City for sure. I would have loved to try one of their Chico Estate Harvest Ales with on site grown hops. Next month I'm making a special trip.  |

I reread this, and I think the Caldera beers may be available in SoCal., but you'll have to look for it or plan on a road trip to southern Oregon. Jim Mills makes some great beers and is fun as hell to get drunk with. |

Actually, Batman... I said it. But that's not important. What IS important, is that I'm enjoying a Negra Modelo cerveza.
Also, we are without the indie pretensions, or Daft Punk without the space-age sheen, and their high-octane electro-clash is tailored more to post-midnight revelry than the evening gig protocol. But this complaint is evidently lost on the Edinburgh crowd, who display all the loose-limbed energy of a chemically fueled late-night knees-up. Digitalism... the pairing of wiry button pusher Jence Moelle and big, burly cymbal hitter Isi Tüfekçi... raise energy levels with the first bleep of ‘Zdarlight’, and maintain it through ‘Idealistic’, with required “Come on Edinboro” rabble-rousing, before saving the biggest surge of Balearic-style euphoria for set-closer ‘Pogo’. It’s all anything but subtle: booming beats, heavy distortion and unremitting strobe, and most of the horde emerge from the venue sweat-soaked and grinning. It’s now only 2247hrs, and the rest of the night can only be a comedown.

Seriously? That is the exact same coffee I`m having right now. His name is Herman Friele and the coffee is named Friele. The breakfast coffee if you prefer a strong, full taste coffee that at the same time is gentle and have a nice aftertaste... BB |
