Having some issues with the linkage hitting the air filter on the 3-4 side.

These are the manifolds that flip the carbs opposite.
Will post pics shortly. Anyone else having this prob?

Will try to use normal offset manifolds and see if it solves this problem.

I am running the big beef IDA manifolds and they work fine. I do not run air cleaners on my IDAs so it is probably not a good comparison. Will post pictures later when I get home.

No worries Rick, forgot to mention mine are the normal IDF/DRLA manifolds, running on Jenvey 45 throttle bodies with short PICO injectors

Wallace,  what are you going to do for linkage arms? I think the berg linkage is designed to work with around 22-25mm centre to centre arms.

David, I had issues with the arms initially, could never or the way you set up yours. So I called up he vets and got a set of adapters from them to be used with the berg idf arms. It works ok now but the angle is still not the way I like it. I think it could be due to the way the bodies was setup from factory. I got these a long time ago and a bit lazy to ship back to jenveys now.

Have you considered using individual filters on the stacks? Would increase clearances.
Just an idea ...

i did, trying to do with what i have before ordering, coz this should be too hard, have seen many pics of Berg linkages with CB offset manifolds no issues, suspect it is the space saver thats giving issues...thanks

prob solved by swapping to normal CB offset manifolds.
