He guys, iŽm Matthias, 31, work in a retirement home as a geriatric nurse  Wink. I am "bugged" since i bought in 1995 my first issue of VW Speed... on the cover was a chopped custom bug called street roach... A few weeks ago i bought a nice 68 1300 bug, and iŽll build a summer daily late looker..... HereŽs a pic of the beauty  Wink

Some guys restored it about ten years ago. They worked not perfekt, but itŽs an solid car  Grin and bonestock except from an old luisi steering wheel

so andnow  iŽll penetrate you with my cal looker in the making  Cheesy

cheers matthias

Oh, that's nice! Jealous!

If it was mine I'd add dropped spindles and discs on the front in Porsche pattern, redrilled rear drums and a set of anodised Fuchs. A nice little 2007 IDA motor and it'd be perfect! Cool

The Gasburners look really great under a late model, and with stock wide beam and brake drums they will fit perfect under the fender.

Yes, i had the same setup on my car before the Porsche disc brakes. After that i had to narrow the beam 1 inch because the disc brakes are wider than drums.

Nice and clean ride! Congrats.

I agree, 3-4 inner splines and 3-4 outer in return will make the rear just a little bit lower and improve the overall looks.

No i donŽt want lower the rear but in future, when the car gets a bigger mill, iŽll but on the rear 205/70s or some other 70th tires... i love them with this white lettering  Grin Grin

today i got some alu T-Bars from Fast Fab  Cool Cool

and i built them on:

Try a look  Shocked

now i donŽt know where i should built the license plate on.... i donŽt want drill holes in the front....

and i know... the rear looks not very well with the stock exhaust pipes.... i think iŽll put on a single or dual quiet muffler...

I love it without the bumpers! You said that quiet packs are coming (duals would look great!) So the only change I'd make is to black out the letters on the rear tyres - I've never been a fan of them!
