Ah....the simple grilled cheese sandwhich! Nice link, Louis.  My grilled cheese "moment" was a couple years ago at a place called The Girl & The Fig in downtown Sonoma. They serve a lot of artisnal (read ranch fresh) foods and the grilled cheese sandwhich had three different cheeses melted onto some thick-sliced homemade sourdough...served up with a bottle of Culler Napa Valley Syrah; HOT DAMN!! http://www.thegirlandthefig.com/html-sonoma/menu-daily.htmlThat being said, today's feast...Crispy shredded beef tacos |

A packet of Walkers crisps (salt and vinegar - is there any need for other flavours?), a Snickers bar and a Bounty bar, washed down with 2 cans of Diet Pepsi. That's my really crap lunch - I really should have put my order in for a sandwich earlier! |
