Hi, so I guess this question have been brought up a couple of times before but here goes again.  Smiley

I have a 2109 (76x94) with 044 heads 40x35.5, Eagle 2242 cam and dual 44 IDF's 36 vents. At the moment it's around 8.7:1 comp and stock rockers but this will be changed to around 10:1 in comp and 1.4:1 ratio rockers in the near future.
Will it be worth the extra cash to go for a merged header and mondo muffler, or could I go "old school" and put a large flange single glass pack with j-tubes?

I'm currently running stock heat exchangers and a small flange hide away system.

1 1/2" merge at a minimum.
