Hi,

I also have the Saco clutch kit, I've not installed it yet.

I'm going to modify it to fit my 67 1200 RHD, has anybody used it on a RHD car?

Have you tried Automec silicone brake fluid?

Cheers, Nick

Did you finger it really well  Wink and noticed the sharp edges around the inlet and outlet holes?

Sorry for hijacking the thread here, but just wanted to thank BB for some great information here.

I've also just fitted one of these kits but needless to say I shall now be taking it out and checking that the seal is not damaged and that the bore is clean and smooth.

I have a few other more urgent jobs to do, but once I get it out of the car and apart I'll report back.

Thanks again BB, I'll buy you a beer if I ever manage to get my act together and get the car to SCC!

I sure did  Tongue the holes are very small but I found no rough edges.
Should I lube the seals with brake fluid?
Cheers, Nick.

I checked mine last week too, its not all up and running yet, but the bore has been checked and its all back in the car now.

The holes in the bore did have sharp edges but no damage to the seals fortunately. Polished the bore as suggested so fingers crossed it will all be OK in a couple of weeks when the gearbox is back in and I bleed it.

DOT 4 is on the shelf ready to go!

Thanks again BB!
