Spent last night thinking, I wonder what is needed to convert a LHD car to RHD.  Some may say don't bother, but if the car is going to get some work done anyway, It might as well be converted so its easier to drive!

So does anybody know what parts are needed, part numbers would be helpful, and any body/chassis modifications needed apart from a new dash.

Yes I have done a few, different years have different mods needed, but taking the 67s in that post

Cut out hole in bulkhead for steering column
Cut out hole for brake master cylinder rod to pass through and drill holes for master cylinder to bolt to bulkhead
Dash
Extend wiring
speedo cable
rhd master cylinder
swap front brake hard lines
new front to rear brake hard line
RHD steering box arm[pitman arm? ]
Cut steering dampner bracket off beam and weld on opposite side
Fab or remove from RHD beam steering box stop brackets and weld on
Flip steering arms left to right
cut hole in tunnel for rhd pedals to pass through
rhd pedal assembly and brackets from opposite side[throttle cable arm etc]
drill and weld threaded nut for brake and clutch pedal stop in floor
Some LHD fuel tanks seem to not clear the steering column when swapped to other side so either clearance or swap fuel tank

There might be more that I have forgotten but that's most of it

Cheers Richie. I might just do easy things like fit a 2nd hand rhd beam to save on some work.

Does anybody have any pics?

RHD pittman arm is completely different. You can not flip a LHD arm over and make it work...

Don't be stupid..... what a waste of time this will be, don't wreck a good car, very seldom are conversions very good, when did you last see a converted car run straight..... look at richies car videos for proof..........  Grin

 I have two identical red 67`s. One rhd and one lhd. The rhd had been clipped and has lots of rust. But the dash and the rhd stuff is perfect. I plan on switching out the pan and the dash area down to the gas tank. My lhd is perfect.It`s one of the best 67`s I had.Some think I crazy for doing the swap, I look at it as I saving two cars  , well almost..
