Hello, I have just brought a yank and have no need for two race cars so therefore I am selling all the go-faster goodies off of my beetle.
First up is 2276 turbo motor
Motor was built buy me at Aircooled Engineering and has since only covered 600 miles since being built to turbo spec. (carried out approx 5000 miles previously as an IDA motor)

CB Straight cut gears
Scat lifters (600 miles old)
Scat 190,000 psi head studs
Mahle barrles and pistons, pistons have 7cc dishes
Total seal Gapless piston rings (600 miles old)

Originally Marty Staggs turbo set up modified by myself
Holley 850 cfm carb.
T peice with modified stock vw end castings (by daz chandler)

MSD dizzy locked out at 24 degrees
Have ran this motor only 3 times down the track best time with only 7psi of boost and missing third gear was 13.1 @ 107mph. Motor has potentials for 10's with higher boost and more track time!
Sold as seen, as this is more or less a race motor that can be driven on the street I will not be giving a guarantee with it so to speak. If the new owner wishes to run 27psi of boost with it and starts breaking stuff that is not my problem. Obviously whoever buys this should know their stuff anyway
Motor runs very nice on the street and is a blast to drive. can be cruised around like a stocker and then all hell unleashed when you press the go pedal harder.
