Shift Coupler (homemade)

Hi.

I think I am kind off a rough shifter  already broke a rubber one and now also the urethane ones seem to fail.
Saw some alu shift couplers on the samba (and at Richies site), so thought what the ... I will try to make one myself as I have a small milling machine
of my own these days. And after some practice..





Well I am kinda pleased with the result..
Haven t tried it yet.

That's why I made the alloy ones that are on the samba. The urethane ones failed. It took me a while to find out why my car didn't go into 2nd under hard shifts.

Be interested to know how much of a difference this makes as just fitted a 901 gearbox and there seems to be a lot of play in the linkage

Ok those are yours, they look awesome, thanks for the idea  .
I live in Europe so including postage and taxes it was a little bit to expensive for my taste.

the cages can  break also,  especially the brazilian ones, i always weld the boss to the frame.
