Recived my BRM's Today !!!!! Shocked

Can't wait to get them all fixed up and detailed.

Does anyone know if Original BRM Caps were made of MAG or ALUM?
I would like a pic of an original lugnut, if there is such a thing.
If anyone has a spare BRM they are willing to sell PM me.
Thanks Guys

Looks like a set of very nice wheels..
As for the caps, the original ones are aluminium.  The hardware picture is borrowed from David Mayes homepage. I have a couple of original studs and nuts, and I had a new set of hardware made for me through a friend. I managed to find enough original caps for my wheels. Try a wanted add on the samba or something, it worked for me

Hello Rune The Cap you have pictured in the Center is a repop(english Brm,Cip1)  (Not A Fat Performance Cap)cap pictured  has the three small bumps on the sides to keep them in and the lettering is differnt smaller font.  Fat Perfomance caps are the closest to the real thing you will ever find they are spun aluminum clear anodized and silkscreened. I would say that the fat and the Original are the same in looks

I don't want to run tubes as I feel it somewhat defeats the purpose of running a magnesium wheel and all.

Lids do you or have you run BRMS on a car with out tubes w/ no problems?

I did have 11, but I sold 4 to a guy called Lucas with a nice original paint Oval last year. I've got 7 left, it sounds odd but it's a good number, 4 road tyres, 2 slicks and a spare  Grin

You can run them with out tubes, if you like 4 flat tires....  As for spacers  Jack @ Jaycee is able to make them he may have the program in his CNC. He used 1 of mine as a sample.  The FAT caps look good.  I clear coated mine to make them a little closer to orig.  The orig. caps have a little more sheen & depth than the copies but they are pretty close.  And for Keith , he does'nt like BRM's because they would'nt fit on any of his 411's & he is still mad about that.

I camped right next door to Lucas and his brother inlaw at EBI.

Realy nice guy, he supplied me and a freind of mine with beers and burgers when we where putting up our tent in the dark.

His oval ran in the 14's that week end, I think it was his first weekend out with the car and a real nice soild original paint car.

Didn't get to say thanks to him for his hospitality.

so errrr thanks Lucas if you out there
