Dates are set for next years Cal Look Drag Day, moved later into the year by popular demand. Hosted at Shakespeare County Raceway we are making plans for a great weekend of VW Drag Racing.

Hope folks can make it along!

Good that you mention that Jamie. I was really surprised that there was not more noise about the first ever UK 9 sec n/a run at Bugjam. I ran in the same lane right after Udo and I can tell you it was great to see. I was dying to get to the top of the track and tell him!

I thought it was one of those 'I was there' moments, a bit like when Moody ran the first ever 9 in the UK.

Massive achievement in my book and I don't think it received the recognition it deserved.

Thanks for that . I worked for this since 28 years now and it was still the aim . i hope i can make it more consistant next year , get a better gearbox during the winter and may be some more horses later :-)

don't like to disappoint but the force and vader are staying put.... however the tar babe is 99% there, hope to run her up tomorrow and then if all ok she will head south to shakey on Frday, if not plan B......

Weather shit this morning but excellent in the afternoon and made 4 passes with a new PB and a new record for tar babe with a 11.86 at 113mph, not only that this is the first time tar babe had run on UK soil so all in al an excellent day !

Can't wait for tomorrow
