I know that due to fuel in the mixture being blown out with an atmospheric dump valve, they are not used on draw-through turbo setups.

Has anyone tried using a re-circulating DV and routing the expelled boost back into the inlet between the carb and turbo, to help with turbo stall on gear changes?

The runner is under vacuum...It will back pressure the intake....and you'll lose vacuum signal at the carb....

I did it once but we ran on LPG  or propane gas and it was a combination off draw through and blow through.
The throttle was in blow through but the gasmixture device was in the white piece close to the airfilter.
Boost dumping worked great.

After adding an intercooler the amount of combustible mixture in the intake was so great that when we had a backfire ,the hood was torn off the body.

I cant see how you would do this with a carb though.

or even why you would have to do this, normaly you would control boost by wastegate and be done

Run a plumb-back BOV into the tailpipe.
Every time you change gears the BOV sends raw mix into the hot pipe.
WOO!HOO! Big flames to amaze your friends and scare little old ladies!
