What H/P have you made with 48IDF's?

I am interested to see what kind of power you can make with a set of 48 idf's? Standard out of the box or modified.
250h/p possiable with some mods?

Back at my old job  we made 234h/p on a set of 48idfs on a 1900cc 16Valve alfa boxer, So I think they are almost there.

Let me know your experiences.

Thanks

Was the 16 valve individual runner or plenum?

That's really good.  I know 48 IDAs can make 250+ with 44 chokes.  But I don't know what the biggest choke you can fit in an idf.

Taylor, I see Jaycee does 44 vents for the IDF. Maybe some shaft profiling and some custom stacks and you could get there.

A buddy of mine has 48 dell tri jets.   He did a good amount of work on them. Stacks, profiling and all but only has 39 or 40 chokes.  It makes 215 on pump gas and runs 11.60s.  80x94

I've got 48IDFs on my 2007cc motor. I've never dyno'd it, but it did run 12.50s in a 1640lb car (with driver) with slicks and a close ratio gearbox. I'd be interested to see what difference my IDAs make.

Taylor, do you know if he changed the trijet jetting? I'm exploring that on mine now.

I have purchased a set of 48idfs to see what can be made with them. I will try them on my 2789cc street motor on the dyno. My plan is to drill the float chamber for a drain, Then I can install a sight tube, like the IDA ones from Jaycee. This way I can observe whats going on in the float chambers on the engine dyno. I will install some 2.5 Viton tipped needle valves and probably radially drill them for increased flow. Any thoughts or new info would be appreciated.
