Good score!
That's a single side cover IRS trans with a 4.12 R&P and a ZF!
The year can be anywhere from 1973 to 1980
The 091 pinion bearing is a direct swap.
The 091 mainshaft ball bearing can be installed in the 73-75 gearboxes with a simple mod to the gear carrier.
What's the full trans code?

Thanks for reply !
Code AW 17 10 3    I had trouble finding mainbearing , messure 66/28 height 18 mm  with no lip on edge  , but found out that it must be
002311123A.   Only trouble is most bearings  have long delivery time.    Please write about 091 mainbearing  , Number and modification. Please !

Your gearbox was made on Oct 17, 1973.
It will have the 002 mainshaft ball bearing in it.
The 091 mainshaft ball bearing is the same dimensions as you noted, but with a wider inner race.  It is wider by the thickness of the 4th gear thrust washer.  To use this bearing you delete this thrust washer, then you need to modify the gear carrier to allow oil to better get to the bearing.  If you have the Bentley manual, a picture is in there.

It will also have the 002 pinion bearing.  The 091 pinion bearing is a straight swap, no modifications needed.  The difference between the two bearings is internal to the bearing.  The 002 bearing has 11mm rollers on both sides.  Then one day a bright engineer realized that the thrust is mostly in one direction, so they changed the bearing to have 10mm rollers on one side and 13mm rollers on the thrust side.  Obviously this is the bearing to have with big hp.

Hi Bruce, which Bentley manual u r referring to that has the mod to the gear carrier.

I would like to buy that copy.  I have the 091 ms bearing with me too.

Do I need to perform this mod if I use the 002 bearing, I only have 1 of those nos so thought of saving it and use the 091.

Thanks
