Whose stupid idea was that?

« on: February 02, 2014, 20:34:56 pm »

Looking through an old drawer I came across about 30 slides and a small stack of negatives.  Just got the disk back this morning.  Some lame pics some real gems.  Enjoy.

btw.. look close at the blue bus and you can see a Keg inside.....  hah..

More...  Dave McNew chilling, My blue 56 and Bob Davis's green car.  Mine was freshly painted without an interior so no stickers in the windows yet.  Not until it was COMPLETE.  And the Deek Ghia (Dee Phillips I believe)

A couple more.  I wasn't going to post this picture of myself but it's just too damn stupid not to post and its a decent pic of some of our club trophies.  Can you tell why they called me Worm back then?  A bit thin would'nt ya say? Obviously I was a non conformist back then.  My shorts were vintage and long (for the time)!  Check out everybody else......... ha
This is a bad idea...............

Great pics Worm, the ragtop Ghia belonged to Glenn Gaskey, my brother Randy painted it in '81, it also looks like one of our 16"  Powerlite pit bikes in the top of the shot. I wish I still had mine.  Thanks for the memories  Bill

It was actuallly deeeeeep black  Martinez's best of show car.  VERY black.  The So Cal sunset made it purple-ish.  Blew our minds at the time actually.

Thanks Sarge!  You're the best.  What are you doing on your computer?  Get back on your damn bike bro..........  Luv.

Here's some more.  Lyle Schaeffer.  The baddest MF'er that ever lived.  If we ever needed an enforcer, "hey Lyle", trouble over.....done.  Oh btw we needed one.......
P.S. the girls liked Lyle too.

Thats it.  Thats all of em of worth seeing.  Good times.
