100 deg f with a heat index of 110 & high humidity here today. Supposed to be like this all week w/ little chance of rain. It is so hot I actually opted to drive the SUV instead of the VW to work today. I am ready for fall with highs in the 70s.

North Florida. Summer is brutal here but winter is nice. We get about six weeks of weather where the temp at night drops to around freezing. (And usually not in a row) In fact, I have never seen snow in person.

I spent 20 years in Arizona.  One summer we had over 100 days in a row of 100 degree days.  Some years from May til October.  Now live in Central California, where it is a little cooler, but hazy from November until March.

Yeah, come to Phoenix.  I remember 122 F and my AC wasn't working.  Whew!

That's why I put in a pool last year.  Now we can always cool down, besides my wife wanted really bad if you know what I mean.  She let's me do my VW stuff so I can't complain.

Today in my area, there is a warning because we will have 50-60 liters/ m2 water due to severes precipitations.

Had to break out the official clubhouse fan this weekend...YIKES, IT"S HOT!!  Nick's was this weekend, too...drove to Bill Schwimmer's at 3:00.  Had to have been 112 when I left the house in the '67.  Hard to believe it gets to freezing here and actually rains once in a while, too.

Yesterday was not too bad in the evening. I cleaned up the garage after my latest work session then went for a ride in the '67 about 6:30. Mid-eighties and slightly overcast made it comfortable cruzing around. Today the heat and humidity is back. At least football season is starting this week.
