We can discuss the sound quality but they pollute a lot less and is faster. That does it for me.

The old 1950's 3lt 4 cylinder Ferrari had a pair of 58DCOE carbs.
Was not good on fuel!

Man those cars sound great.  I particularly like the 3rd car in. The 70s/ early 80s car.     Closely followed by the 2nd car (nice air on that one).   
The cars today just sound too quiet.  Cannot deny the power, but if the electrics brake, it's all over.    It should be all about the best and most powerful ENGINE not battery pack...
We have formula E for that...  Formula one should be allowed to flourish and not be held back by ludicrous rules.    Bring back the good old days.
