Rocker cover breathers. Bolt or weld?

I have the scat stainless steel covers. And want to fit breathers. Is there a best location to do this or is it irrelevant? Thinking nearer the front of the engine.
Also. Would you say it's better to fit the bolt in breathers or have some bosses welded on? I.e. AN fittings. Just concerned about how thin the covers are and I don't want them to warp because of welding them in.

What covers do you run? And where did you put the breather?
I was teetering between -8 and -10.

Stainless Scat covers. The fitting is to the front on the top. -8 should be fine.

I would thread the breather to accept a npt fitting---- that way they can be replaced if needed -- like when you drop it on the floor and mangle one -- not saying you would do that -- I just know someone who has,,,,,, personally,,,,, look at him every morning in the mirror,,, dumb ass

The oil will always take the road with the least restriction. In order words, if it is not allowed to get back to the case using the 8 ordinary routes it will then start moving up your
breather hose and to your breather box. I believe you should get rid of your crankcase pressure where it is created and not make new routes for your oil away from where it belongs. We have discussed this before here on The Lounge.
