Wow this is a timely thread for me, when installing large torsion bars what angle do you install them at (ie preload) I'm guessing 17deg would be wayyy to much?

I set them with No pre load, spring plate sits just off the factory stop/cast housing unless you want car to sit lower

thanks a lot! Any recommendations on torsion bar size? 1957 oval windows run a 627mm long 24mm bar. Running a 60hp engine, so nothing wild.
