Hi again,
The beehive springs are excellent in many ways. One of them is the small diameter configuration on top.
The titanium retainer is only 3 grams.
This is Crower spring and retainer.
From left is a K750 spring.
Then a Comp Cams replecement spring for Chevy LS2 beehive style. Retainer is from PSI in titanium.
Then the Crower beehive spring with the 3 gram retainer
Then a CB650 with JPM titanium retainer
Far right is a Gene Berg double spring
Bottom picture is my current modified heads with JPM Oteva 75 Swedish steel springs and JPM titanium retainer.
So we have a very similar setup as CB650 and JPM springs are pretty much interchangebale. Good stuff both.
