Giant CD Full of grooves?? You gotta be pulling my leg how would they get music out of grooves without a laser??  Grin Grin

It's called: Vibrations. Feel It ? The Giant CD is 12 inches wide, and that needle thing sends the
vibes thru CABLES to your amp. We say it sounds warmer then a CD, well my amp is hot all the
time.    Grin Grin , Oh, and that giant cd is made of vinyl, you know really FAT stickers.
This is to much high tek for me. Grin Grin.

Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez, Sean Kinney(original AIC). and William DuVall (new member) joined sometime in 2005 / 2006.

I believe the new album is called Black Gives way to Blue.

Saw them at Download Festival in 2006 - couldn't believe the new singer sounded like Layne but also like himself. Never got to see the original line up live so glad to see the new version. Welcome back.
On a related note, I remember hearing of Layne Staleys death at a Wildhearts gig - he'd been discovered that day, and when Ginger (WH frontman) announced it there was almost silence, very eerie.

Don't Box Me In / Stan Ridgway (Wall Of Voodoo) & Stewart Copeland (The Police).

Always loved this song and still a fan of both bands. Reminds me of my D.K.K. days and the early '80s

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/8j6Tln0lN0c" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/8j6Tln0lN0c</a>

Another classic that I'll never tire of. Wall Of Voodoo covering Ring Of Fire. My favorite version of this song since the day I heard it.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/JegJYlZ7UQE" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/JegJYlZ7UQE</a>

I remember hearing a live version, like this one, on KROQ and KNAC back then, too.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/0f5nUqko3Ug" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/0f5nUqko3Ug</a>[

Another band that I've always dug on since they first got airplay on the radio... Kraftwerk. Watch this only if you like cars. It's called Autobahn and features some cool VW images. Their big song that got a lot of airtime on the radio was Pocket Calculator.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/68C-r9kSLNE" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/68C-r9kSLNE</a>

And last but not least... The Normal with TVOD. My fellow DEEKS will remember this one.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/u8thf7TpZYs" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/u8thf7TpZYs</a>

Another great song by The Normal was Warm Leatherette. Can't find a decent video of it, sadly.

I did a special mix CD for The Classic weekend.... stuff that reminded me of DKK days and cruising my 67 and it included a Wall of Voodoo track and a Stan Ridgeway solo track.

No tunes today, due to having to take the bus. Angry I own 3 and 3 half cars, and not one of them is on the road! Grin
