Sarge, if i play Sly, it's the Woodstock Session a.w.e.s.o.m.e HIGHER

That song always takes me back to the halcyon days of DKP in the early '70's.  Thursday nights were almost always spent at a place called Pinwinnie's Ironfoundry in Fullerton.  They had a small dance floor and a great band that went by the name of Churchill.  The place ROCKED on Thursday nights...and there was always a chance of a good street race or two out in the parking lot!  Anyway, Churchill had a three piece horn section and those boys cooked on the Sly tunes...just the best.  We'd leave at 12:30 am, get in my noisy-ass 63 with our ears ringing and try to muddle through work on Friday.  Boy, I miss the old days sometimes... Cool Wink

Cool John, i was  just burning a cd for somebody and put the tracks here . You got a lot of different stuff too. Smiley All this stuff with Jim, makes me to play James Gang "Live" over and over again. Tonite i'm playing the scratched vinyl album version. Unreal. The band playes so much tighter then on the first 2 studio albums, all off the band members improved a 100 %. This album should have been a double Angry. ( If you ever would like a burned copy. Let me know.)

I would....let me know what to do.

Just PM your address, and i will burn.

32 1/2. Jim I think he would like the earlier Dead music from Birth of the Dead or something close. Something they called "rushed".

send me a barrel

He's got a still in his basement and a fresh mountain spring in the front yard. 2 years ago me and my brother went back to Alabama and my cousin had a 2 liter of my dad's shine. We drank it over the rocks straight. It was smoother than any Bourbon Whiskey I have had yet.

So Sheep, what are youre fav. tunes. My album for tonite: Jethro Tull: Thick as a Brick

Jethro Tull is one of my all time favorites from the old days.  From Stand Up, A New Day Yesterday.  From Benefit, Teacher.  From Aqualung, the whole album but especially Hymn 43.  Another back in the day group is Humble Pie.  Rock On, Rockin' The Fillmore (I Don't Need No Doctor), Smokin' and Eat It are all worthy of a spin.
